My name is Nina. I am a senior in high school and finishing my final of 13 years in Girl Scouts. This site was created as a platform for my Girl Scout Gold Award project which aims to develop critical thinking skills in growing girls. Critical thinking skills allow us to consume media without internalizing toxic content. This makes critical thinking particularly important for middle-school-age girls who are both dealing with the struggles of growing up as well as the pressures of living in a patriarchal society. I hope that in this space, you find new ways to think about how you view the world, are able to access resources for empowering media, and learn how to identify healthy media for yourself.​
