Workshops

Our workshops are the highlight of this project, offering middle schoolers a hands-on opportunity to learn about critical thinking, mental health, and media. Although these workshops are targeted to middle school girls, we welcome boys, non-binaries, and children older and younger than 6th, 7th, and 8th grades to attend as well. Just click on the link for the workshop that works best for you and register from there.

At these events, attendees will gain an understanding of what critical thinking is and how media impacts our mental health. They will complete a variety of activities that encourage them to exercise these new skills while still having fun learning about critical thinking. Additionally, a Kahoot! and skills survey will be provided at the end of each workshop to test participant's knowledge and allow me to see how people are engaging with this content.
